There is no gain saying the fact that getting a job in Nigeria is not an easy task. Obviously, getting a job in a country with over 180 million people is not an easy task. This is due to the fact that the Job market in our country is very Competitive.
After graduation, graduates and job seekers are faced with the harsh shocking reality that the Nigeria job market is not as ideal as they though it was or may have been Led to think.
Nowadays, once you are done with your University education, the next thing on your mind as a new graduate is how to get a Job in Nigeria, not just as Job but a good one at that.
Undoubtedly, as a matter of fact, there are plethora of jobs and jobs opportunities in Nigeria as long as you are qualified but getting these jobs is not an easy task because the jobs available in the Nigerian Job market are Limited.
As a result of this many unemployed graduates and Job seekers have resorted to self employment rather than jostling for the few white collar Jobs which are available in our country today.
Nigeria like several other countries of the world has its own experience of unemployment and Job Scarcity. This is as a result of many factors such as Corruption,Unfavorable Labour Market, among others.
Some years ago, getting a Job in Nigeria was quite easy and less difficult. This was due to the fact that Our Country was Less Corrupt then than as it is now.
Unfortunately nowadays, getting or securing a job in Nigeria is now  based on one's Network, that is the who you know factor. This worrisome and ugly trend has not only helped to encourage Corruption, But it has also ensured that the Less qualified are employed rather than the most qualified.
At this juncture, an important question agitating your mind is "Who gets the best Job in Nigeria"? Is it always the most qualified applicant?
Well, according to Brian an employment Consultant, the answer is "No". The best job often goes to the most effective job applicant.
However in my opinion, what is effective may be relative. In other words, what may be effective to one may not be effective to another.
According to a recent survey embarked upon by the National Bureau Of Statistics,Unemployment rate in Nigeria today Constitutes about 58.3 percent of the population. This new statistics also revealed that about four million employed workers in Nigeria were thrown in to the unemployment market Last year. This is very worrisome considering the fact that Our Nigeria Universities churn our thousands of graduates every year.
Furthermore it must be also be stated that the issue of unemployment is a major problem all over the world today and Nigeria is not an exception but sadly it is worse in Nigeria. The rate of unemployment has increased during the Last few years, no thanks to the fallout of economic challenges such as , economic recession among other factors.
In conclusion, it is posited that the best solution to the issue of unemployment in Nigeria is self employment. Therefore Fresh graduates and job seekers are encouraged to embrace self employment as  a means of ameliorating the problem of job scarcity in Nigeria.

2017 was really rough and full of obstacles.

I thought I had everything planned out, I had New Year Resolutions.

I would make my first million before December 31, I would be connected to the high and mighty. I would write at least five books. I even planned to find Bae before 2017 ran out. But it did not go as planned.

I am currently young, dumb and broke. And Bae-less too.

I thought I knew everything. Or maybe I really don't know.

I don't know if I will finish this game. This game of life. This game of success. This game of good versus evil. A game of alternating between the black and white sides.

I don't know if I am just a pawn in this game. Or a regular piece constantly manipulated by someone else.

I don't know if I will find (or I have found) my knights. Guys who will cut corners and jump over obstacles just to see me win. I will be their knight too.

I don't know if I will find (or I have  found) my rooks. Guys who will walk the extra mile and defend me any day, any time. I will be their rook too.

I don't know if I will find my Queen, the rightful heir to my heart, soul, strength and might. The lady who will support and defend me from all sides. I will do the same for her too.

I thought I should give up and run back to my shell. After all, I was young, dumb and broke. But I kept playing the song 1-800-273-8255 by Logic featuring Alessia Cara and Khalid. And I realize I still had love to give.

As I write this post, lying on my bed while the white low energy security bulb of my neighbour's house reflects on my dark room that has not seen NEPA lights for months, the lyrics of Jon Bellion's IDK replays in my head:

"I guess if I knew tomorrow, I guess I wouldn't need faith.
I guess if I never fail, I guess I wouldn't need grace.
I guess if I knew his plans, I guess he wouldn't be God."

Maybe I don't know, but maybe that's okay.

God is on my side. My guys are on my side.

So for Now, I will keep moving.

Two steps at the start. That's beginner luck.

One step at a time. Till I become successful. Till I win in this game of life.

Till I get to the other edge of the board.

That's all I need to know.

A year changes a lot. Trust me, 2018 will be that year.

It came a time when we carefully observed the church and activities therein, we saw a church that patronized all other forms of art in worship and left the aspect of RAP for unbelievers. We saw a church that preached against RAP music and condemned RAP and RAP ARTISTES, where RAP LOVERS and RAPPERS were seen as canal.
As at June last year GOD started to speak to us specifically about this neglected aspect of human art that has been tagged unholy, and GOD made us to understand that He is hungry for the praises of his people in whatever way it comes, and from the emergence of successful GOSPLE rap artiste like LACRAE and others that has proven that GOD is a lover of RHYTMS AND POETRY (RAP). He gave us a mandate to PROJECT GOSPLE RAPPERS AND UNITE GOSPLE RAP LOVERS.
On June 23rd 2016 we decided to start from home (UNIBEN) by organizing THE FIRST EVER GOSSPLE RAP CONTEST in the University of Benin. The event was the first of its kind in UNIBEN and across other institution in Nigeria called DOXA GOSPLE RAP CONTEST (DOXA GORAC).DOXA means GLORY in Greek. DOXA GORAC Is a non-fellowship event but entirely Gospel. The last year’s edition of DOXA GORAC was organized in conjunction with the office of the UNIBEN SUG president, Comrade OBAKPOLOR LAURETTA O. And SUPPORTED BY MANY WELL MEANING FIRMS.
GOD helping us we were able to organize a successful contest, marveled by how much talent the gospel rap ministry is blessed with. We were able to produce 3 winners. SUPPERBOI, MIKELDOXA, ERONS
All of which won themselves 100% free record deals and other prizes.
HOW FAR WE HAVE GONE
Doxagorac maiden edition was organized June last year with an estimated 1200 attendants at hall 2 car park. The event was so lively that busy students preparing for exams left their hostels to join the event. SUPERBOI emerged winner, ERONS emerged first runner up while MIIKELDOXA emerged second runner up. The winners were given 100% FREE record deal of 3 tracks (winner), 2 tracks (1st runner up), 2 tracks (2nd runner up) and 1 combined audio record for all of them. The songs were recorded at the studios of two of our sponsors (EROSKELLY STUDIO AND STUDIO V). MIKELDOXA recorded “REPPING FOR CHRIST” & “SWAG-SAVED WITH AMAZING GRACE”, ERONS recorded “MIRACLE” & “YOUR LOVE”, both of them also did a combined song “GOD ON TOP”. SUPERBOI was unable to record due to some unforeseen circumstances. So far so good, we have done our best in projecting our artistes by uploading their songs online (gospelcentric),scouting for lucrative performance opportunities for them within and outside campus, playing the songs on rhythm 93.7 FM and also goinsg on air for an interview.
The mandate is heavy in our heart that we can’t ignore.
GOD helping us this year we the DOXA GORAC TEAM proudly announces the second edition of DOXA GORAC 2017.

There is this really talented and 'awesome' rapper that's trending right now. He's young, talented and has a great personality. His name is Joel Osaro Peter but he goes by "Treyboi"..... (I'm yet to ask him the reason for the name choice)

Treyboi is a twin from a family of six who were formally Muslims but are now Christians. He studies at the University of Benin and is currently in his finals. He became a full rap artiste after he discovered that he was no longer afraid of the crowd and he also realised that he never needed to write lyrics and spit them in the toilet..... (That part got me rolling on the floor)

According to him, he gets inspiration from his environment, his everyday life and the people around him. His plan towards rap music is to bring it into a whole new level in Nigeria. I truly am expecting great things from him because he is bursting with potentials..... You can click here to download his new single 'Baby Yo'

You can contact him via any of the following medium

So this Lord Chosen member has been trending online with her "alarming" wedding dress. She has received comments of different shapes and sizes but who cares....she's married and she sure looks happy.

Who am I to say the dress is not beautiful and stylish ni.....I am unmarried and she is. Besides, according to her, the wedding was wonderful and I hope the marriage is too.

But.... The gown tho.

Who says nothing good can come out of Nazareth? For indeed something even greater has come out of Zamfara.
The Levites' Voices, the Choir of the Baptist Corpers Fellowship, Zamfara State has taken the bar several meters higher with this amazing, mind blowing, spirit filled song titled Chukwunonso (translation: God is near), produced by Emmdizzle. A joint effort of the 2016 Batch A and B corp members of the Baptist Corpers Fellowship, Zamfara. This song could easily pass for the next NYSC anthem, the unofficial one, of course.  Listen, enjoy and be blessed.

A Lagos State High Court, Igbosere, yesterday ordered the National Agency for Food, Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) to compel Nigeria Bottling Company (NBC) Plc, manufacturers of Fanta and Sprite soft drinks, to include a written warning that the drinks should not be taken with Vitamin C.

Justice Adedayo Oyebanji gave the order while delivering judgment in a suit by a Lagos businessman, Dr. Emmanuel Fijabi Adebo, and his firm, Fijabi Adebo Holdings Ltd., against NBC and NAFDAC.

The court warned that taking Fanta and Sprite with Vitamin C is poisonous and awarded N2 million against NAFDAC for failing “to live up to expectations”.
It said NAFDAC failed Nigerians by certifying as satisfactory for human consumption, products which, in the United Kingdom (UK), failed sample test for human consumption and became poisonous in the presence of Ascorbic Acid, known as Vitamin C.'
The plaintiffs urged the court to declare the NBC was negligent and breached the duty of care owed its customers and consumers in the production of Fanta and Sprite with excessive “benzoic acid and sunset” additive.
Fijabi also urged the court to direct NAFDAC to conduct routine laboratory tests of all soft drinks and allied products of the company, to guarantee their safety.

Counsel to the plaintiffs, Mr. Abiodun Onidare, in an amended statement of claim, alleged that sometime in March 2007, Fijabi Adebo Holdings purchased large quantities of Coca-Cola, Fanta Orange, Sprite, Fanta Lemon, Fanta Pineapple and Soda Water from NBC for export to the UK for retail purpose.

“In consideration of the fact that this case was filed in 2008 and has been in court for nine years, N2 million is awarded against NAFDAC. Interest shall be paid on the cost awarded at the rate of 10 per cent per annum until liquidation of the said sum,” Justice Oyebanji said

Yes or No?

All hell has been set loose on instagram comedian, Jesshilarious' comment section of the above nude shoot of she and her son. Most commenters are pissed that she positioned nude with her son in such a sexual manner
and they feel it's inappropriate for his age. However, many others still think it's okay. They say it's just a show of motherhood.

In all these, Jess still stands strong with her bold caption; "MY LIFE, MY F*U*KING RULES"

What do you think about the shoot?

Yes or No??

Do you think if it was Kim K or Queen Bey, any body would have criticized?

It's funny how a lot of persons are casting the word "Ponzi" and even doing any scheme associated with that name even though they know they stand the risk of loosing what they invest into it without any meaningful values added anywhere. The word Ponzi was adopted from the name of a man who duped a lot of persons with his scheme and ran away with their money.
Ponzi schemes should not be mistaken for pyramid schemes, although all Ponzi schemes are pyramid schemes and all pyramid schemes that promise high returns within a short period of time are Ponzi schemes, pyramid schemes such as GNLD and other multi level marketing programmes that offer products for sale are not Ponzi schemes. While there are no goods to sell or services to offer in Ponzi schemes (which makes them quite attractive), legit pyramid schemes offer something to sell. In such schemes, you buy products at relatively less expensive rates and then you resell... If you cannot resell, then you use the products on yourself, in that case you gain something. Ponzi schemes usually end with the last set of persons registering as the ones to lose.

However, a number young Nigerians have come up with the idea of local Yahoo, using WhatsApp groups to extort money from people and then destroy the group once they reach their goal. This is a scam that Persons should be aware of as they often call themselves "Reliable peer to peer system" just to attract people and gain trust, but let users down at the end of the day. Before you think of a money doubling venture to invest in, think about the consequences... Not just you, but the person who will lose in the end. Joining in such ventures with the mindset that " I'm a sharp guy...once I gain, I'll get out" only promotes them... A reliable peer to peer system is one that all the members of the group agree to recycle forever and ever, but we're all Humans and we're naturally greedy, else, our forefather and mother wouldn't have eaten the fruit to be like God... All of such schemes happen to crash out of greed of Men. Just the way they begin.

The returns are quite tempting, though... I did take part in one, even after preaching against multi level marketing... I however, didn't collect the gain eventually — because I didn't want to open any accounts with my name, I  collaborated with someone...but the system took time to pay, just enough time to have me recollect and decide many times to forget about the gain and eventually just ask for my investment back... Plus, my conscience wouldn't rest if someone should call to tell me the money they just gave me was the last they had to live on, like the widow's mite. I might not be Jesus, but I would consider giving them the gain while keeping back my investment... So, Ponzis are not for me. I'm, if you like to call it, a repentant Ponzi-partaker

This article isn't asking people to back down from it, but to only use their free money, and to never borrow money to invest in them, as many do. Ponzi scheme creators do not care about you... They only care about the money they make and they eventually will shut down leaving you with very meagre amount, or nothing... They are promoted by people who care about the money better than they care about their fellow humans who will eventually lose when they (the ponzi creators) crash their system...

In as much as wisdom and having "the sharp guy" senses are good, having such qualities without niceness isn't so cool...

      Mr president sir,

If I may remind you, this is 2017 in case you have forgotten because of the luxury of aso rock, the presidential Villa. We are still yet to experience the change you promise even if we did not ask what type of change you are bringing, if it is a positive or a negative change.

Since your inception in office, you have travelled almost around the world visiting other country world leaders who are busy developing their country, even when you were not invited only to be embarrassed by them and now you have come with your logo which says "CHANGE BEGINS WITH ME", Mr President sir, if I may ask, is that the change you have promised us, how can change begins with me when you haven't change yourself, even ur wife is not in support of your administration only for you to tell her that she belongs to the "OTHER ROOM", thou I don't know the room you are talking about but I hope is not what I am thinking. Take a look at your cabinet, you are been surrounded with a HIGH PROFILE OF SELF-CENTERED AND MINDED POLITICALLY POLITICAL POT-BELLY CORRUPT MINISTERS and you say change begins with me.......i laugh in Nigerian  pidgin English.

Mr President sir, if I must tell you, you were not been voted in because you were the right choice for Nigeria, you were been voted in because you were the only option Nigerians had. Some Nigerians voted for you because of your VICE-PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE in the person of PROF YEMI OSINBANJO, some voted for you because of their pledge to their political party, some voted for you because of religion and ethnic groups, but I personally voted for you just to remove Fmr President, GOODLUCK JONATHAN from office so he will learn his lessons according to what Fmr president, OLUSEGUN OBASANJO, a political godfather told him, I quote "NOW THAT YOU HAVE LEFT OFFICE, YOU HAVE LEARNT YOUR LESSONS".

Mr President sir, on this note, I am saying that you should bring back our corruption, we thought corruption was a bad thing to Nigerian's not realising it was a good thing to us, not until u came with ur corrupt anti-corruption policy which Favour's  you, your corrupt ministers and top political leaders alone. You blocked all the borders for foreign importation of goods especially food item's when you were not ready to empower the agricultural sector leaving us with local rice that has stones and sands inside as if you are eating it.

Mr President sir, your policy was not a bad one but the approach to the policy was very very bad. I was not surprised when somebody named you after his dog because i was thinking of naming you after something that was totally not useful to me.

Mr President sir, SENATOR BEN-MURRAY BRUCE have advised you several times, but you paid deaf ears to him. I could vividly remembered in one of your speech when you said that no political leader will go outside the country for medical checkup when qualified doctors have been confirmed in Nigeria, I still wondered what you are doing outside the country for medical checkup, perhaps you have gone for eye, nose and ear checkup, the next one we should be hearing is PENIS CHECKUP, may God save your life.

Before I drop my precious pen I bought for N50 because of your selfish administration, let me use this medium to beg you to wise up and rise up as a President because i know you are not the one ruling this county, your corrupt ministers and political godfather's are the one ruling you to rule this country which does not make you a leader, this is not a military era, we are in a democratic era. 2019 is not far again, so better fix yourself before others will fix you to fix yourself.

I just have to stop here now because if I have to continue, I am not sure your story will end, perhaps this is just the beginning and In everything you do, always remember that there is God.......

We all know that we should use smart study strategies for learning but what is the science
behind effective study strategies? The tips below come from scientific studies that examine the
difference between memorizing for short term and learning for the long haul.

Here are 5 ways to enhance learning

1. Quiz Yourself Daily

Studies have shown that the
best way to remember the information you've read or studied is to test yourself. Why?.... seems that the mere act of pulling information
out of your brain and tucking it away again works like a sort of "body-building technique" for
memories. Through a process called retrieval practice , it seems that information becomes
sturdier and more embedded as we exercise it.

2. Reduce Your Cell Phone Use

It should come as no surprise that spending too much time on the cell phone can affect your
grades. But the relationship between phones and
grades is not simple; it’s not just a matter of time spent wisely (or not).
Studies show that there is a relationship between cell phone use, anxiety, and student
performance. Increased time on the phone seems to be linked to increased feelings of anxiety, and
that leads to lower student performance.
Another relationship has been noticed between
increased time on cell phones and a decrease in physical activity. Students who spend more time
on phones, in other words, tend to be less active - which also causes a buildup of stress and
anxiety.
In fact, science also suggests that students who take part in aerobic exercise benefit from better
long term memory.

3. Stop Trying to Memorize

Mnemonic devices are handy when you need to memorize a list of items that you intend to recall
in the next day or two. Memorization is a skill that comes in handy for short term memory. But short term memory is only good if you’re cramming for a test and you don’t care about
learning. Long term memory is the goal for truly learning from the material that you cover in class.
A recent study shows that memorization impairs
your ability to recall details - and that can be a problem if you’re taking a test with essay or
multiple choice questions!
To commit information to your long term memory, you will need to venture beyond memorizing facts. You must strive to gain a meaningful understanding of concepts beyond the words and names on your list of terms. This
leads to true learning - as opposed to short-term memorization. Long term memory comes from getting active with material and studying the same information several times over a few weeks.

4. Use Music and Actions

The more active you become when it comes to studying, the more you will be able to commit the information to memory. If you’re studying foreign language (or any other subject that requires you to learn new vocabulary ) it seems
that singing is helpful. Singing new vocabulary and definitions taps in
to your auditory learning skills and helps you recall more readily, according to one study. It’s
certainly worth a try!
Another study shows that you can benefit by taking your class notes by hand instead of using a keyboard to type your notes. The act of writing words out by hand enhances the comprehension
of concepts. In one study, students who took notes on a computer could recall facts as well as
those who used hand-written notes, but they could not grasp concepts nearly as well as the
pen-and-paper students.

5. Use a Sleep Strategy

Common sense tells us that students need to get enough sleep to perform well in school. But
there are some surprising findings when it comes to how and when we sleep, as it pertains to our
ability to learn. It’s not about the amount of sleep you get, necessarily. The timing of your
sleep patterns also matters.
Consider the following findings about sleep and study:
A regular bed time is important, but students with later bedtimes have lower grades than students with earlier bedtimes. When you sleep right before study time, the information seems to sink in as you sleep and soak into your long term memory. Sleep actually reinforces learning. The information will transform from short term
memory to long term learning if you go straight to bed after reading. However, if you start reading Facebook posts or do any pleasure
reading between study time and sleep time, you clog your brain with useless information and
stop the potential for learning while sleeping. Study and then go straight to sleep: that’s the
key!

Yet again, Bobrisky has decided to shock us this year as he is about to drop his single 'Oshey Baddest' featuring his music producer 'Seuncee'. Who would have thought that the cream expert also has an eye in music?? Certainly not me!

Bobrisky was seen snapchatting about this song few days ago and apparently he sounded very excited screaming continuously "I love this song".
I honestly cannot wait to hear the song immediate it drops and watch how it would hit the market.

I would later be dropping a link to where you can get this hot jam downloaded...stay tuned

There are more money-making
opportunities on social media than you
might realize. Social media, in fact, can be
quite lucrative.
Many experts say that social media is for
connecting with people, and not for selling,
but at some point, you're going to want to
leverage the connections you create. If
you've built up enough trust with your
followers, they'll be more inclined to check
out your recommendations and the links
you share.

Here are some ways u can make money via
social media

1. Promote your coaching or consulting
services.
Social media is a great place to generate
leads for your consulting business. Whether
you're a guitar teacher or a life coach, if
you have demonstrated expertise in a
specific area, you can create more interest
for your services by connecting with your
target customer on social media.
Coaching sessions can be conducted over
Skype, so this is definitely an opportunity to
make money without leaving home.
Consulting can be lucrative, so remember
not to undercut yourself -- charge a fair
price for your time and effort.
This strategy can also work in unison with
selling information products, as those who

2. Join the YouTube Partner Program
Building a popular YouTube channel can be
a lot of work. But if you already have
followers , or you're determined to build
your audience, joining the YouTube Partner
Program to make money on advertising
might be a path worth exploring.
There are prominent YouTube content
creators who have made substantial
amounts of money with this program, but
they are the exception rather than the rule.
It would take a lot of time, strategy and
sheer luck to make money on YouTube.
However, this is a good thing to keep in
mind with advertising in general. Unless
you're already getting a lot of views and
clicks, you're not going to make a lot of
money on them.

3. Promote products and services.
There are many opportunities for you to
share sponsored posts that promote the
products and services of other businesses.
This is a very direct way of earning money
from social media.
But, if you don't have a sizable following,
this may not be much of an opportunity.
You also have to beware of over-promoting
products for want of money, because if your
followers see that you're constantly
tweeting about one product or another, not
only will they not click on the links, they
will also un-follow you.
It's important to mix things up. It's wise to
take the time to craft a proper social media
posting schedule , to make sure you're
adding value to your followers while
promoting products. Calls to action should
definitely be a part of your social media
strategy, but every post can't be a call to
action.

Good luck!

I can vividly remember few years back as I bounced into a local shop looking for a Samsung S3 to buy. I had anticipated the phone for weeks, dreamt about it and fantasized on my friends phone (even dreamt of stealing his own)

I finally got the money for the phone and with so much anxiety (as e dey hot) I ran off to the nearest phone shop to get my brand new Samsung phone. It was the very first phone I was getting for myself and i didnt know terms like clone and refurbished existed.

You must have seen the social media lashing him like he's a demon from hell, lol. Although he is not transgender but that's how most people see him and have all resulted to tagging him gay due to his girly appearance. To a very large extent it is obvious that he's just someone that's being ridiculously controversial to gain fame and attention which I believe he has achieved.
