So after such a long time, I'm back on my MUA features. Today we have a very wonderful personality. Her name is Osamuyimen Ebuehi and she's the CEO of Osamus Signature. She's a beauty and special effect makeup artist.
According to her, makeup has been her passion since her first year in the university. However, she didn't have enough funds to go to a makeup school so she decided to become a "self taught" makeup artist (I find this very inspiring). She said a whole lot of persons said her work was too rough, she wasn't good enough, she was too young yet she didn't give up because she always finds a way to push through the challenges that life throws. Osamus Signature is a brand that was created to take creativity to another level..
Along the line, she confirms that she has faced a lot of challenges but consistency has been the key to her success so far. She has been discouraged by friends but has kept pushing. Her major challenge was to get start up funds. Despite the fact that she didn't have funds, she decided to start however little things were for her.
Aside makeup she does other  things like baking cakes, pastries, hair making, fixing nails, making wigs and studying Optometry in the university of Benin.
Her drive is to be an empowered lady that is an inspiration to many.
For bookings, you can contact her on 08106960807.

below are pictures of her amazing works.

photo of the day “makeup or disguise”

At first I argued that both photos were pictures of different people...(maybe a husband and a wife...no offence) till I saw that the nose was the same. Makeup has evolved from beautifying a woman's face to concealing her identity.

honestly....what do you think about this transformation.
Yes or No?

Very well then, it has been proven and proclaimed by me that this is recreation. It's explains Grace and how God just forgives a criminal from sins then transforms the person. However, pink is her colour.
If i were her, I'd never stop wearing pink on my face everyday. It's not like she's an ugly person but the make-up just softens her into another appearance entirely.

I wonder how my recreation will be and how I will look.....anyday I try transformation you will be the first to see it. (Lol) What do you think? ?

I am so sure that there are lots of people who have made the same mistake that I have.
I have done very expensive braids either the box braids(Bob Marley) or twisted braids, with various colours in the hope of looking glam and rocking the hair.
Most times, I end up either letting it down, packing it into a bun (donut) or packing a ponytail and in less than a week, I get bored and tired of my hair.

So, I took it upon myself to research the various ways to style braids and these are what i found.
Welcome to a whole new world of braids;

1. The simple bun style (donut)

Ripped jeans or "crazy" jeans as they are also called has been existing since the 1980s. But they seem to be more popular these days. Celebrities like Kanye West, Kendall Jenner etc are not left out in this frenzy, as they are seen sporting this amazing trend.

There are three variations of ripped jeans;
1. The Ripped Jeans - These are jeans with holes in them through which the skin is clearly shown
2. Distressed Jeans - In distressed jeans, instead of showing  off skin in the places that are torn, the loose or fraying thread from the jeans are revealed, showing little skin
3. Lacy Ripped Jeans - This is another fashionable form of ripped jeans. To achieve this, a beautiful piece of lace is sewn around the ripped part of the jeans. The slightly transparent lace material is on display, giving those jeans a feminine and sophisticated look.

Why should you discard your old jeans and spend tons of money getting a new pair of ripped jeans, that may not even be ripped in the place you like when you can do it yourself without spending a dime by following these easy steps.

FOR SIMPLE RIPPED JEANS;

1. Pick out the jeans you want to remodel
2. Arrange your materials: Some old newspapers or magazines, a sharp knife or razor and a pencil.
3. Use the pencil to mark out the parts of the jeans you want to rip. NOTE: Avoid ripping too high above your knees, especially for the guys because your underwear might show
4. Place the newspaper in the jeans so as to avoid cutting the front and back of the jeans.
5. Cut the marked out part.
6. In order to prevent the jeans from tearing further, sew around the edges.

FOR DISTRESSED JEANS;

1-4. Follow step 1 through to step 4. But here, you add sandpaper or a pumice stone to your materials{step 2}
5. Start rubbing the marked out part with the sandpaper or pumice stone took those parts look worn out.
6. Use the side of the knife to scrape the distressed part if the jeans till you can see the white threads underneath the jeans.
7. Now, use the tip of your knife to pull at the weakened areas of your jeans. This will loosen the jeans, allowing the white threads and a little skin to show

FOR LACY RIPPED JEANS;

This can be done either to newly ripped or previously ripped jeans to make it even more fashionable. The trick is to simply cut out a piece of lace and stitch it to the jeans to cover the ripped parts of the jeans (this should be done with the jeans turned inside out. Turn it back out when you are done sewing)

All you need to do now is to throw on a shirt to pair with these amazing jeans

The vintage shirts we see flooding the fashion industry today are not the shirts made in the 1920s as some of us think. They are actually shirts that imitate the style of the 1920s. They are usually very big/oversize with big buttons. They are extremely colourful and may come in an irregular pattern of florals or in geometric shapes such as triangles, lines etc.

The original vintage trend died down in the 1940s and 50s but is back in a hot new style both for the guys and the ladies. And the good news is IT IS COMPLETELY flexible. That is it can be worn as a casual or a formal outfit in the following ways.

FOR THE LADIES
  1. For a simple and casual look, you can wear it with a pair of skinny jeans or leggings and choose to either;completely tuck it out, tuck out only half of the shirt, tie the front of the shirt with the back tucked out, or choose to just unbutton it entirely without tucking it in. You can equally just roll up the sleeves and wear it with a pair of high waist bum-shorts or jeans{the shirt has to be completely tucked in and buttoned in this case}.You can wear this with sneakers, sandals or even heels.
  2.  For a corporate outfit, you just neatly tuck it in with a formal skirt{either flair or pencil} and throw on some heels or flats.

FOR THE GUYS
  1. You can choose to roll up or let down your sleeves and button or unbutton your vintage shirt. Tuck out if you decide to try this outfit with a pair of jeans. You can slip on a hat, sneakers and even sunglasses to give you the glam effect.

As we all know, there are no specific fashion rules. So feel free to personalise your style and completely rock it!!!

Some people fail to understand what Fashion truly means. They think being fashionable is to dress wild and crazy and by so doing they turn out looking like masquerades. They forget their fashion sense in the wardrobe and just come out like that.

These are important tips you should always keep at the back of your mind when you are on the journey to slay.

Quality Over Quantity. Most people like number, you'd see them packing so many stuff on themselves. They always want to use all know assessories to compliment what they are wearing. It make them look too busy and therefore spoil their appearance. Keep in mind that in being Fashionable, Quality comes first. Just one good colour, clothe or accessory could keep you on the top of your slay.

Be clean. I don't know how well to say this but it is so important. I  come across some certain kind of people who slay dirty. The clothes they wear are either rumpled, faded or dirty. That's not really a good mark. Try to keep your clothes in good condition because the neutral man judges you by your appearance before any other thing.

Express before impress. Express yourself before you impress others. Be original with what you wear, be you. If you are trying to follow trend, follow it in your own unique comfortable way, not photocopying.

How will I say this now!
Please be careful on colours, don't just carry clothes with different colours and wear. If you don't understand colours, try more of neutral colours and less of strong colours. (Wear at most just 2 colours). We really don't want you looking like you don't know what you are doing.

Hope this was helpful....#muah

Are you that female that want to be romantic with that special male by helping him knot his tie but donno how to??
Or are you that male that wanna knot your tie yourself But can't??
Or are you that person that just wanna learn for the purpose of it??
Then you are the reason why I came up with this 5 simple steps
1. Start with the backside of the tie facing away from you, the wide end is on the right and the small end is on the left. The tip of the small end should rest slightly above your belly-button (this will vary depending on your height and the length & thickness of your tie). Move only the active (wide) end.
2. Wide end under the small end to the left.
3. Across the small end to the right.
4. Up into the neck loop from underneath.
5. Down through the loop you've just made in the front.
6. Pull down on the wide end to tighten. Slide the knot up

Denim, otherwise known as jean is a very delegate material and it is very important to maintain it as it can easily lose its quality and colour.
I put together some dos and donts in term of caring for your Jean that if followed would turn your denim into ancient of days.

Here they are:

1. Avoid washing too much
This will sound really cool to the folks that dont like doing laundry. As funny as it sounds to the clean folks, jeans donot need too much washing as it tends to fade easily. It's just the way it is-not that I don't want you to wash your clothe-jeans are just as such.

2. Wash the back instead
It is very important to turn your jean inside out when you are finally washing,  as this also prevent fading.

3. If it's New, wash with salt
If you just got the Jean, endeavour to wash with 2 teaspoons of salt. This helps to prevent decolouration.

4.always wash with your hands.
Get uncomfortable and wash your demin with your hand rather than with a washing machine. This helps to extend the life span

5.Avoid washing with Detergent.
Detergent is not your jeans friend at all. Wash with bar soap to retain its composition.

6. Use cold water.
This is really healthy for your denim. The colder the better.

7. Always air dry
Lastly, don't keep your demin damp. After washing endeavour to air dry.

Do this and thank me later.
